Important – This notice affects all existing licenses and new orders starting September 1, 2019.
cPanel announced a new pricing structure last month, changing from a fixed price per server to a usage-based model that charges according to the number of accounts on the server. This new system affects all existing licenses and takes effect starting September 1, 2019.
Each account now requires its own license allocation, depending on the type of license — not by domain name. Suspended accounts still count toward the total account limit.
For clarification, in cPanel & WHM, an “account” refers to any listed cPanel account.
Additionally, cPanel has renamed its license types to reflect Cloud, VPS, and Dedicated Metal tiers.
New cPanel pricing for our customers will be offered under the following core packages.
| Package Nam | Account Limit | License Type | Monthly Price | |
| Admin | Max. 5 Accounts | Cloud Only | $19.95 | Bulk Accounts |
| Pro | Max. 30 Accounts | Cloud Only | $29.95 | $4.95 for each additional 25 account increments |
| Premier 100 | Max. 100 Accounts | Cloud & Metal | $44.95 | $4.95 for each additional 25 account increments |
| Package Name | Account Limi | License Type | Monthly Price |
| Premier 125 | 125 | Cloud & Metal | $49.95 |
| Premier 150 | 150 | Cloud & Metal | $54.95 |
| Premier 175 | 175 | Cloud & Metal | $59.95 |
| Premier 200 | 200 | Cloud & Metal | $64.95 |
| Premier 225 | 225 | Cloud & Metal | $69.95 |
| Premier 250 | 250 | Cloud & Metal | $74.95 |
| Premier 300 | 300 | Cloud & Metal | $84.95 |
Each additional 50 accounts beyond that will cost an extra $10.00 per month.
We will make the upgrade/downgrade process between these packages as smooth as possible in case the number of accounts on your server changes.
All existing licenses will be automatically converted before the next billing date on or after September 1st to the new pricing structure, based on the license type (Cloud / Metal) and the number of accounts on the server.
Unfortunately, annual licenses are no longer available. Existing annual licenses will continue to operate until they expire, at which point they will be converted to the monthly pricing outlined above.
Discounts & Wholesale Pricing
Unfortunately, the discount we receive as a cPanel distributor has been significantly reduced, making it very difficult to offer any additional discounts on the standalone license prices listed above.
Instead, we will increase bundle discounts when purchasing cPanel alongside other software products we offer.
We will also provide a 5% loyalty discount to customers who have five or more active cPanel licenses with us.
To qualify for this discount, all licenses must have the same due date, and you must have a credit card or PayPal billing agreement on file.
We will automatically apply this discount to all eligible customers when their licenses are converted.
Subject to Change
We are still in discussions with cPanel regarding these changes, as we only learned about them on the day they were publicly announced. There still appears to be some confusion about how these changes will be implemented.
The new packages are not yet available, and the rollout depends on several factors.
We wanted to inform our customers about these planned changes as early as possible to give them time to understand and plan ahead.
If anything changes, we will update this announcement as soon as possible.
